This year a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Renfrew County Community Office of the Canadian Cancer Society. The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based charitable organization of volunteers whose mission is to eradicate cancer and enhance the quality of life of those living with the disease. The OVCBF will help support the Canadian Cancer Society's work in breast cancer research and support services. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Canadian women (excluding non-melanoma skin cancers) and is the 2nd leading cause of death from cancer in Canadian women.
